DAY 2 | VISITOR TICKETS SOLD OUT

Visitor tickets in the MCC Members' Reserve are now sold out for Day 2 of The Ashes test between Australia and England on Saturday December 27. No further visitor tickets will be available for Day 2.

A very limited number of reserved seats remain available on Level 4 for members and Annual Guest Card holders only.

Tickets

Visitor tickets in the MCC Members' Reserve are now sold out for Day 2 of The Ashes test between Australia and England. Unreserved seating and standing room for Full or Restricted members, Annual Guest Card holders and pre-purchased general admission visitor ticket holders will be available on match day, subject to capacity.

Full and Restricted Members, and Annual Guest Card holders can purchase reserved seat upgrade tickets for themselves via Ticketek or access unreserved seating and standing room by scanning their membership card at the Gate 2 turnstiles on match day, subject to capacity.

Tickets are subject to availability and capacity. Ticketek service and handling fee inclusive of GST applies: $9.00.

*Children aged six years and under as of the day of the match do not require a visitor ticket if they do not occupy a seat.

Unreserved Seating

Unreserved seating areas will be listed here 24 hours prior to the match day. 

Prepare

To ensure you are inside the Ground in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.

If you have reserved a seat, download your seat ticket prior to your arrival. To gain entry into the match, scan your physical or digital membership card at the turnstiles.

There are many ways to get to the 'G! Plan your journey ahead of time to ensure you're inside the Ground for the start of the match.

MCC dress standards are enforced at all events in the Members’ Reserve. For ease of entry, members should ensure that their attire, and that of their guests, is neat and appropriate to the various areas being visited within the Members’ Reserve.

When visiting the Long Room, Members’ Dining Room, Committee Room by Grossi or John Landy Room on match day, a higher standard of dress is required.

At the 'G

MCC members enter via Gate 2. Members are required to scan their membership card at the turnstiles for entry. 

Those with a visitor ticket will be required to scan the barcode on their ticket.

All food, beverage, merchandise and ticketing outlets are cashless. All transactions will need to be made on your debit or credit card.

The MCG is a smoke, e-cigarette and vape free venue. Patrons found smoking or vaping inside the Ground will face immediate eviction and could face further disciplinary action by the Club.

The Australian Sports Museum is open for those attending the match from gate opening (listed above) until 15 minutes before the first ball.

Tickets for the Australian Sports Museum are half price and can be purchased on the day inside Gate 3 at the MCG. The Museum showcases the best of Australian sports including AFL, cricket and the Olympics.

The MCC Library and MCC Museum are open to members and their guests on match days at the MCG.

The MCC Library is located on Level 3 of the Members’ Reserve, whilst the MCC Museum, is located on Level B1.

The MCG Multi-Faith Prayer Room is open to all patrons. It is located on Level B1 of the Shane Warne Stand (approximately behind Section M13).

Please note, flashing lights and pyrotechnics will be used throughout this event at the MCG.

Accessibility

The Melbourne Cricket Club is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive experience for everyone when they visit the MCG.

The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.

The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges. The G-Train also features vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.

Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:

  • Richmond Station
  • Jolimont Station
  • Accessible Parking Area

A Sensory Friendly Space is located within the Australian Sports Museum on Level 1 of the Olympic Stand (behind M51, inside Gate 3). This is a space for patrons of all ages who have sensory sensitivities, processing differences, or other hidden disabilities.

There are two rooms within the space offering patrons the ability to choose between quietly watching the event in a tiered theatre or using personal sensory strategies and fidgets to relax in a multi-purpose room.

The SEN Stadium App provides a zero delay commentary on the Hearing Loop at the MCG. 

The MCG has many hearing loops fitted throughout the stadium to relay PA announcements.
