Baseball

The MCC Baseball Section was established in 1888 and continues to be a strong and vibrant part of the MCC sporting community. It is widely regarded as the oldest baseball club in Australia.

The club has a number of senior, junior, female and masters teams across a multitude of levels and new participants are actively encouraged.

The summer season is from October until February. Men play Sundays, women play Saturdays and juniors play Friday night or Sunday morning.

Home matches are played across two venues. The majority of matches are played at Surrey Park in Box Hill, where their spectacular clubrooms are located, to complement one of the best grounds in town.

The junior matches are played at Macleay Park (Myrtle Park) in North Balwyn and was the former home of our club, before we moved to our present facilities in Box Hill in 2000.
