About David Neitz
One of Melbourne Football Club's most decorated players, David Neitz was a versatile and strongly built centre-half back, centre-half forward and full forward renowned for his consistency, bullish strength and straight kicking for goal.
In a career spanning from 1993 to 2008, Neitz set club records with 306 games and 631 goals, and also captained the club in 175 games from 2000 to 2008.
